Ugh
It's been ages.
And that's because . . wait for it . . I HATE BLOGGER.
Just popping in to tell the few who don't know all my other pages that I'm starting at Acton High School tomorrow.
Wish me luck, or something.

Congratulations!
I'm so happy for you Vicky.
I've said this many times but you are going to be a fantastic mother.

Myths of the Near Future
So last night I had a slight fever [which is odd as I wasn't sick before and aren't now] and I was in bed listening to the album Myths of theNear Future by KLAXONS . . .
Incredible MGMTish indie rock album + A Fever = HAlluCiNATing
And I mean seriously entertaining things jumping across the wall.
It was a blend of MGMT Music Videos and the 'This Picture' MV by Placebo.
If nothing else, my already spiff imagination got a major boost.
It was good fun.
I COMMAND YOU TO CLICK ON THE TITLE OF THE ALBUM ABOVE AND DOWNLOAD IT IN A .ZIP FILE FROM RAPIDSHARE.

Woah . . .
O.O - So that looks totally freakin' awesome.
Seeing as we happen to be back at this point - the one that occurs more and more frequently where I tell you all the new or coming films I am going crazy for/you should see NOW - I might as well go the whole way:
Okay, so this poster makes it look really cheesy and retarded (Don't bee fooled -link- )
but I prefer it to the other which is a brazen rip-off of True Blood's promo

The poor and posterless:
Chatroom (2010)
Jane Eyre (2009)
Flora Plum (2010)
Some Days Are Better than Others (2009) - IMDb seems to suck-ass when it comes to actually knowing anything about film but to my surprise there is an official site to tell you the actual plot, shame Gabe Nevins doesn't have a major role.
Nowhere Boy (2010)
Womb (2009)
Alice in Wonderland (2010) - Yes there's a poster(s) but whatever . . .

You know what else rules?
I'm listening to a Radio Show which is currently playing live and is hosted by two lovely ladies I know in Wales.
Sent in a request for "High School Never Ends" by Bowling For Soup so lets see what happens.
Go Charlotte and Laura!
Really tho . . .besides Dawson ruling and the first 19 seconds of that video being so overwatchable:
This is the same as where I just came from,
I thought it was over, Aw that's just great.
The Whole Damn World is just as obsessed
With who‘s the best dressed and (who's having sex)
Who‘s got the money. Who (gets the honeys)
Who‘s kinda cute and who‘s just a mess
High School Never Ends.

So the original idea was different from what I discovered Bella had created when I got back from placed seeing Transformers 2, (I know . . ugh) and that explains the possibly misplaced arm.
But I love it anyway.

Battle for the Sun
For some reason I hadn't realised that Placebo's new album was already out, but when I found out last night I made haste and downloaded it.
I listened to it straight through before falling asleep and every song hit me.
But I must mention that whoever said that the new drummer gave them 'a much needed kick' was a douche . . . we all know old Steve was perfect.
I just listened to it again on the long walk to and from the park where our home gathered for a strange ritual.
Track 1: "Love of mine, this fortress in our hearts feels much weaker now we're apart."
-KITTY LITTER
Track 2: "And it was
A leap of faith I could not take
A promise that I could not make
A leap of faith I could not take
A promise that I could not make"
-ASHTRAY HEART
Track 3: "I will brush off all the dirt, I will pretend it didn't hurt."
-BATTLE FOR THE SUN
Track 4: "For what it’s worth, come on lay with me cause I’m on fire"
-FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH
Track 5: "All of my wrongs, no more wicked ways come back to haunt me, come what may.
He wrote the songs that I hoped to write someday, looks like the devil's here to stay."
-DEVIL IN THE DETAILS
Track 6: "A heart that hurts is a heart that works"
-BRIGHT LIGHTS
Track 7: "Don't let them get their way, Don't let them have their way, you're beautiful and so blasé, so please don't let them have their way.
Don't fall back into the decay, there is no law we must obey, so please don't let them have their way, don't give in to yesterday."
-SPEAK IN TONGUES
Track 8: "Time will help you through, but it doesn't have the time, to give you all the answers to the never-ending why."
-THE NEVER-ENDING WHY
Track 9: "Just one more hit to make it right, but every one turns into seven."
-JULIEN
Track 10: "This memory will fade away and die, just for today, breathe me and say goodbye."
-HAPPY YOU'RE GONE
Track 11: "Here comes another fall from grace, I'm always falling on my face."
-BREATHE UNDERWATER
Track 12: "Walking around like you're on some kind of cross, and it's a shame on you the irony's lost."
-COME UNDONE
Track 13: "Were you looking for somewhere to be, or looking for someone to do.
Stupid me to believe that I could trust in stupid you."
-KINGS OF MEDICINE

Now if I win those tickets to see them next month that I applied for on facebook I will be uncontrollably happy if I don't just combust alltogether.

. . .
Back from Wales this afternoon, was great to be in Swansea again.
Between the 3hr trip from London and travelling between places on our witnessing day, I listened to Green Day's new album 21st CENTURY BREAKDOWN.
Five years since American Idiot and it's hard to believe it actually has been that long, it seems so relevant now in it's proportion and perfection.
But I in no way want to compare between the two because I have such a mental block against it that when people bring it up I want to scream "F********CK!!!" at them for an undiscovered reason.
From the first second of the title track I knew it was nothing like I had expected.
I can't explain it but it gave me such a feeling of hope:
Track 1: "21st Century Breakdown"
Track 11: "Murder City"
Track 16: "21 Guns"
--------------------------
"DESPERATE, But Not HELPLESS"
-Green Day

Family. Yay.
Went to Regeant's Park for a picnic that was organised trying to get in to the Guiness Book of Records for being the largest.
Was boiling so I just stayed in side an enclosure of trees with Bella and Joe.
And also Auntie Bella actualy managed to take the first good picture of me in ages.

Into The Wild
I see them standing at the formal gates of their colleges.
I see my father strolling out under the ochre sandstone atch, the red tiles glinting like bent plates of blood behind his head.
I see my mother with a few light books at her hip, standing at the pillar made of tiny bricks with the wrought-iron gates still open behind her, its sword-tips black in the May air.
They are about to graduate.
They are about to get married. They are kids. They are dumb.
All they know is they are innocent, they would never hurt anybody.
I want to go up to them and say "Stop, don’t do it. She's the wrong woman, he's the wrong man. You are going to do things you cannot imagine you would ever do.
You are going to do bad things to children.
You are going to suffer in ways you never heard of.
You are going to want to die." I want to go up to them there in the late May sunlight and say it.
But I don't do it.
I want to live.
I take them up like the male and female paper dolls, and bang them together at the hips like chips of flint, as if to strike sparks from them.
I say, "Do what you are going to do and I will tell about it."

This is on the top of my list because I've been waiting for it
since there was even a shred of news on the net.
Kaya Scodelario from Skins in her first feature-length.
