Now Slide
"Overture" by Steve Fisk + Benjamin Gibbard.
This piece of music is the constant companion to the book I'm writing.
Only other song I find as gut wrenching as "Time To Pretend".
It's one of the few pages on youtube that is seperate from the mindless abuse and stupidity.

Haze
Watch this to the end or die . . . I mean 'please' . . .
The clip is from Flashbacks of A Fool, and I strongly reccomend it lots of times.
Though it's the sort of film that finds you at the perfect time.
-------------------------
When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city to see a marching band.
He said, "Son, when you grow up, would you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?"
He said "Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made? Because one day I'll leave you, a phantom to lead you in the summer, to join the black parade."
-Welcome to The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance
Spring is always able to give a sense of peace and comfort.
It's a warm glow that lights the edge of your hair.

With Something Hard & Sandpapery . . .
Just bear with me one last time.
Heather's Vlog. (not the Heather I live with :P )
She features in several of Kelly's videos and you can see her finest moment if you watch through the end of the Let Me Borrow That Top mv.

I know alot of my posts have been instructing you to worship something incredible.
It's what I do best.
Out in 6 days.
Just cry . . . you'll never find words to describe the joy. :D

Rerun
Yesterday we went to Reading to finish off the last 300 tracts from Darwin Day.
I've never enjoyed photography so much.
-Young Love-
This image is in no way Photoshoped. (*ding* :D)
I was just playing with the focus and I captured Josh & Sam in a moment of Bromance.
=====================
Yes Izzy, you're welcome.

Picture Time (MGMT) Kids!
Me and Bella modeling the makeup she did from MGMT's video "Kids".
Overall a poster for my sister Tasha :D .
Distressed as we digress to the natural.
And . . . yeah.
That.
And my new deviantID.
Hurrah!
Splendid eh?
--------------
Thanks to "Aunty" Faye (who is really my half step-neice) for the use of her camera.

Remind Me Again . . .
. . . How I managed to keep up a healthy Blogging lifestyle.
As I've said before I just don't want to become one of those philosophical members of this commmunity (The posting of the GNs . . you know? like ten foot long prophecies?) even if it means continuing to be a provider and sharer of information as to the next slew of fantastic films.
Anyway, aside from that so very paranoid and defensive start, I'm here to revisit the phenomenon of Skins.
Lucky for me, I was bubbling with praise for the new series yesterday after this week's episode.

My Journal.
February the 9th 2009:
"We Walk" by THE TING TINGS
For once not in conflict with how most people think films etc. should take a small part in everyday life - Skins is like my alternate universe that I'm part of.
Now in it's third series it's completely different, and though it still has amazing power (not the traditional type) it's effect on me is obviously new.
The show is again brilliant in the way that each time the cast is taken away you'll enter a new event that has no need to compete with the previous series.
Series 1 + 2 will always be like a life to look back on.

I'm consumed by my own intelligence.
